We love our neighbors.
That's why we're committed to using high quality, authentic, and real ingredients. Serving handcrafted drinks, house made soft serve, and truly organic matcha from Kyoto, Japan, come and enjoy one of our many delicious offerings.
Specially cultivated green tea leaves are hand-picked, and stone ground to create a vibrantly green powder.
With levels of caffeine comparable to a cup of coffee, matcha skips the crash, and jitters, and replaces them with zen-inducing amino acids, and an anti-oxidant bomb. Originally consumed by ancient monks to help provide energy and focus in meditation, it remains beloved in Asia for both its flavor and practical benefits.
Home to the best matcha soft serve around town is a small shop called Bon Matcha!

"Our favorite menu item is the super creamy matcha soft-serve ice cream, which you can swirl with a seasonal flavor (recently: milk)."

I'm about matcha EVERYTHING so I had to try this place. I wanted to try their soft serve and their their autumn leaf drink because I've seen photos of them. Was able to get their ice cream but not the drink because it was seasonal so I got their Matcha Limeade instead.

This quaint spot in DC provides one of the best ice cream experiences in DC. Not only that, they sell the best matcha soft serve I've ever had in the US, possibly in North America. This place is quickly becoming a regular spot for me.

I don't care if it's freezing out- this matcha soft serve is GOOD. And for an average DC ice cream price (~$5).

If you're doubting how good the soft serve is, let me just ask you, have you guys ever seen a line for ice cream in the winter? Umhm... that good! I felt like every flavor, from the ice cream itself to the cone, was very carefully crafted. The ice cream itself is not too sweet and there is a unique taste to the matcha and vanilla ice cream.
